Sena has shown double standards here, first they beat north-Indians, treat them as outsiders, chase them away from their heart-land and when the Aussies do the same down-under they have a national heart-break?? sheeesh!

Actually, Rugby in Europe is not the same as Football in America. While American Football was derived from Rugby, there is a lot of difference between the two sports. So Rugby in Europe is Rugby in America as well, although some of them equate it to binge-drinking.

Actually, I think you’ve got it right with respect to soccer/football. I somehow like to call it soccer

Good memory on the F1 chat at Achettup’s blog ! Yeah I’m a fan of F1 – even been to a race when I was still in mainland Europe ! Guess what I gave up to watch F1 ? To watch the first Ashes test of the 05 series. Ok it was online watching, and I expected Aus to whip England ( which they did at Lords, and let’s forget the rest of that series, or even last yrs for that matter )

Tks for the blog bit – it’s more a space for me to rant when I’m done doing the same at other people’s blog

I’ll try and put up a post on F1 tech aspects.. It’s a fascinating field, so much so I even thought of doing certain courses at Univto try and get into a F1 team !! Things though haven’t as yet panned out that way

Haan, as for football/soccer? Don’t they call, what ManU play, football over here? I always thought
Football (England) = Soccer (US)
Rugby (England) = Football (US)
Do correct me if I am wrong

As for F1..I’ve seen a few races (though a long time ago, when I was still in India). And because I didnot get the hang of the technical side of it, I didn’t pay much attention. Would love it if you would write a post on “F1 technicalities for Dummies”…

tch tch Megha, it’s Soccer.. Leave the word football to those pesky American’s and their American football nonsense !

As to whom I’m support – The Red Devils aka Manchester United. From that it follows I dislike ( hate is too strong a term for me ) – Liverpool, Man City. No surprises there then

Btw why of all remaining sport, did you refer to F1 ? What about F1 don’t you know – the technical aspects I guess.. Ahem this would need a blog post on it’s own.

What you might do though is tune into BBC1 on March 14′th at 12:00 and watch the first race of the 2010 season. That would be a good start

Before you ask ( if not clear already), in F1 it’s Ferrari for me.
