Liars!!

These Pakistanis were lying obviously when they said they would like to meet India again in the finals.

Bas upar upar se bolte hain, dil se nahi chahte!

Yeah, I get that “minding” part RS. Already got a couple of abusive comments for saying it. If only people would understand humour….

Anyway, good job done by Pakistani bowlers. Should do you guys good for the future matches…good luck!

thanks Megha, Bowlers are our best hope to take us through specially in semi on this Wanderers pitch. But batsmen need to support them well, 20 runs more today and India might have been through.

I know the humor but I also know who emotional we are about each other so this post is always going to attract some retarded discussion if not moderated, right?

I think Pak will make it to the finals easily. You’ve got good batsmen in your team. Just a matter of who can keep a steady head on his shoulders for the big occassion. That guy Afridi is pretty much a one-man army when he gets going with the bat and the ball.

  7. That was brillaint wasn’t it :) Keeping hopes up till the 598′th legal delivery, only to have it snatched away ! Both Aus/Pak have a really wicked sense of humor. For a rematch in the final, and for Aus to win hands down ! Can’t wait for it to happen..

You gloat away TG…India’s day will come…some day…

It should be a Pak/Aus final i think…what with the love Aus has been sharing with England lately and how Pak like to play NZ in semi finals n all :)

Couldn’t but help gloating away, esp since you had to ‘ remind’ me of the Ashes :) Wouldn’t mind an Aus – Pak final. In reality that’s the most likeliest final. Can’t see Eng putting it across Aus, and NZ – would have given them a chance if they had a full fit squad, but seeing that they don’t – it’s got to be Pak.

As to India’s day, didn’t it come and go away. Was ranked #1 ODI side, and now not even that :) :)

Oh pls while on India, care to comment on MSD’s ridiculous statement on the Aus match – he said, ‘ we would have won that easily’… I mean WTF – Aus were zooming in on 300 plus score.. and he reckoned they would have won that easily with a batsmen short..

  8. @TG

The match happened in a parallel universe, so he’s fully entitled to say whatever he wants. Prove him wrong. Come on, I dare you to.

In fact, here are a fee pearls of wisdom from me:
If we had not lost to Bangladesh in the 2007 World Cup, we would have been World Champions now – easily.
If we had not lost to Pakistan last week, we would have won this tournament too – easily.

Want to prove me wrong? You’re welcome to try.

But to be fair to Dhoni, it was probably a tongue of slip.

Totally! Wait, we are still talking about tournaments in a parallel universe, right?
